Collaborator deck

Sonder City

A pitch to the people who'd actually make this — cast, crew, and creative partners.

This audience is judging whether the project is real and whether working on it is worth their time. Lead with proof of execution, not promises.

What the film is

Your logline

[Protagonist] must [want], but [obstacle] — in a story about [theme], set in [world].

03The vision

Tone and intent

What it feels like to watch this film. Two or three reference films/photographers/painters for tone (a real one already in motion: Bergman's Persona for the color language).

04Proof of concept

This isn't a deck-only idea

The film's signature technique — memory surfacing as a double exposure directly on the actor's face — already exists as working software, not a pitch-deck rendering.

What's built

A custom Blender pipeline: per-frame face tracking, 2D and full 3D topology-aware compositing (the memory texture wraps onto a real fitted face mesh, not a flat overlay), eye/mouth protection so the performance reads clean underneath the effect.

What's graded

Real test footage carried through a full DaVinci Resolve color pipeline — multiple film-stock LUT directions tested and compared (Kodak 2383, Fuji 3513DI) against a reference photographic look.

This slide exists to answer the collaborator's real question — "is this person going to waste my time" — with evidence instead of assurance.
05Roles needed

Who we're looking for

Role 1

What they'd own, what stage they'd join at.

Role 2

Role 3

06What's in it for you

The offer

Deal structure — paid, deferred, credit-and-reel, profit share. Be specific; vague terms read as a project that hasn't thought this through.
